What are the safety, hazing, & alcohol policies?
All Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc. Chapters and Charters prohibit hazing. All sorority members are required to attend a workshop designed to teach and enforce the risk management policies, including details about safety, alcohol use and abuse, and hazing. Members are expected to follow policies of their respective schools, councils, cities, states, and country.
How will my daughter benefit from joining a sorority?
Sororities are rooted in principles that foster academic achievement, student involvement, leadership opportunities, community service, connections with culture, and life-long friendships. Joining a sorority will encourage members to get involved in the community and the university to enhance their college experience.
What time commitment is involved in going greek?
Potential new members in the new member education program will develop leadership and time management skills, learn more about the sorority’s history and values, and get acquainted with Sisters.
Active members participate in weekly general body meetings, philanthropy events, service events, socials/mixers, sisterhood retreats, and support other organizations on campus.
All members are encouraged to become involved on campus both inside and outside the colony. The number one priority before everything is academic success.
